MarketPlace Development Office Manager

Description

Serve as MarketPlace front office manager at Reagan National Airport.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support for the General Manager
  • Manage the administrative workflow for all department managers
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports including payables processing, credit card reconciliations, process store inspections, prepare and track employee time sheets
  • Prepare storage lease paperwork and temporary lease agreements for execution
  • Serve as a member of the Risk Management team and maintain certificates of insurance for all tenants and contractors
  • Manage all office equipment, phone systems, IT systems and administrative supplies
  • Ensure that office procedures are efficient and administrative contract deliverables are met

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadline
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding property and human resource information
  • Good supervisory skills to ensure that office functions properly
  • Positive attitude with a team player mindset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree or some college/work experience equivalentThree years experience in a related field
  • Property management experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The General Manager is responsible for providing our customers with the Robinson Hill  delighting guests, one experience at a time” service. This exceptional experience effort is combined with meeting or exceeding budgets for Sales, Cost of Goods (COG), Cost of Labor (COL) and Manager Controllables. The General Manager will lead his/her Management Team to create a culture in their restaurant that fosters team development and projects the values of the company with the ultimate responsibility of safeguarding the financial success of LTE.

• Operate the restaurant to RH’s standards for Food Quality, Guest Service and Cleanliness & Organization at all times

• Conduct Administrative functions including, but not limited to:

  • Orders food and beverage effectively and accurately to guarantee stock on hand while minimizing waste/excess product.
  • Receives product according to procedures, handling any returns and communicating price or quality issues to the vendor and Culinary/QC Director.
  • Accurately enters invoices and purchases into RH’s systems.
  • Works directly with outside facilities vendors to ensure all equipment is operating to standard.  Manages process and services to acceptable completion.
  • Administrates payroll.
  • Conducts accurate and timely inventory. Maintains an overall inventory awareness.
  • ServSafe certified and ensures RH’s food safety and workplace safety standards are practiced
  • Effectively constructs weekly team member schedules and daily deployment to meet budgeted labor targets and business flow.
  • Trains and continues to develop Managers and Team Members.
  • Maintains balanced teams and communicates hiring needs to HR Recruiter.
  • Validates all Team Member training. Implements and executes the Robinson Hill Dream Team program.
  • Performs coaching by conducting two quarterly 1-on-1s with all Managers and Assistant Managers.
  • Ensures recognition programs are effective.
  • Creates a positive teamwork environment by promoting high morale and encouraging full Team involvement.
  • Ensures that Company Policy & Procedures are understood and followed through performance coaching and follow up.
  • Manages and attains all sales and financial targets for food, labor and controllable costs.
  • Ensures The Human Element audit standards are met.
  • Engages in direct communications with the Operations Manager and RH Office Departments.
  • Operates within the guidelines of our company values.
  • Handles customer comments and complaints. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Read, write and communicate effectively in English with all levels of the organization.

• Be physically able to work a 10-12 hour day while on your feet.

• Climbing, reaching, walking, sitting, grasping, repetitive motions, visual acuity, hearing, and a great deal of smiling.

• Able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work standing up for sustained periods of up to 4-6 hours.

• Represent the Brand by maintaining a professional appearance.

• Previous restaurant experience of at least 2 years at the GM Level.

• Intermittent travel.

• Pass required TSA background check and drug test. Do not apply if any criminal history.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline

• Minimum of four years’ multi-unit restaurant experience and/or airport concession management experience

• Strong POS and POS analytic experience
